If you want to experience taking a step back 1000 years in time, this historic building in the heart of medieval Pisa is a perfect option for you.
This B & B overlooks the Piazza Vettovaglie, the ancient market square of Pisa.
The whole building has been recently renovated, thus offering modern conveniences in a building where you can breathe the air of past centuries.
During the works, an original art piece of the last century was found on the wall and kept (check it out in room 1).
We offer clean and comfortable rooms and apartments, and the possibility of using a magnificent living room and kitchen area. It has a spectacular view out onto the renaissance square, commissioned by Cosimo dei Medici, which young people fill during the night time for a young fresh vibe!
Breakfast is not currently offered.
SERVICES
The Guest House Features:
- Large shared kitchen equipped with everything you need; fridge and stove, crockery, pots & pans, oven and kettle, plus with a magnificent view of Piazza Vettovaglie!!
- Bed linen and towels included in the price, as well as a the service that changes them every 3 days.
- Room cleaning (only for stays longer than 4 days).
- For the safety of our guests the entry and common areas are installed with video surveillance.
- Entrance to the car in Z.T.L. zone, must authorize with reception first! (free service)
- Bus service only 10 meters away, with connections to any destination and directly to the airport and train station (red LAM)
- Customer service in different languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish.
- Return free at any time of the night.

To confirm your reservation you must send a debit/credit card number with expiry date as a guarantee.
Payment will be made upon your arrival or departure in cash.
A deposit will be required only for stays longer than 5 days by bank transfer.
On Arrival
Check-in from 12:00 am
The rooms will be available from 12.oopm onwards. If you arrive at the B & B before the check-in time, please inform us so we can give you directions. In the case that the room is free for you, you can check-in without problems. However, if it is occupied, you can leave your suitcases in the living room, take the keys and come back later to check-in from 12:00 am
Check-out: 10:30
We kindly ask customers to leave the room before 10:30am, so that cleaning can take place.
If necessary, suitcases can be left in the common area.
In case of unforeseen events and arrivals after the stated time, please be in touch in advance to guarantee a quick check in.
Cancellation Policy
If your reservation is cancelled more than 7 days before your check-in date, you will not be charged.
If the reservation is canceled within the 7 days before your check-in date, 100% of the first night will have to be payed or half the stay will be charged for reservations longer than 4 days. We will inform you before personally about your specific cancellation policy during the booking process.
We therefore ask our guests to inform us of any cancellations more than 7 days before the date of arrival by e-mail.
If the guest does not respect the commitment made with their booking, the B & B has the right to ask for a penalty equal to the price agreed for the first night of the rooms booked.
Group Booking?
We can book the whole Bed & Breakfast site for you!
Available for small groups and families (graduation and holidays).
The Bed and Breakfast is located in the historic center of Pisa, close to all the main tourist attractions and universities.
Many supermarkets and shops are open 24 hours and are right nearby the residence or in the same square below.
The main bars and nightclubs are a 5-minute walk away.
The Verdi theater is a 5-minute walk away.
The Duomo and its Tower of Pisa are a 10-minute walk away.
Travelling from the Airport
On Foot:
From the airport to the Bed and Breakfast, it takes just over half an hour and is almost 4 kilometers on foot.
You follow the signs for the railway station and from there, follow Corso Italia, up to the Ponte di mezzo.
Once you have crossed the Ponte di Mezzo you will enter Piazza Garibaldi, at the corner of the square the pedestrian alley begins where we are located, the Vicolo delle Donzelle.
Public transport services:
From the airport there is the red LAM Bus or the People Mover leading to the train station. from here you can decide to proceed with a walk of 10 minutes and walk across the pedestrian street or take another bus, the green lam or the number 4, to the stop “Pacinotti 2” and continue a 1 minute walk to the alley
The public transport service is only available from 6am to 8pm.
The ticket (€ 1.5) can be purchased inside the Airport at a Tabacchi.
The “People Mover” has recently arrived in Pisa, bringing passengers from the airport to Central Station (€ 2.5).
The monorail service is available until midnight … if you have a flight that arrives after midnight, and you do not want to walk, the only option is to travel by Taxi (approx 14 euros).
Taxi:
The route from the Airport to the center of Pisa by taxi is just over 10 minutes, but costs around 15 euros.

By car:
As for travelling by car, getting to the Bed and Breakfast is super fast and fast: you need just 10 minutes.
Now, please pay attention to the following indications:
- The historic center of Pisa is closed to non-residents. So read the directions well, because if you accidentally go through a city passage with cameras you will come home to very high fines!
- It is difficult to park in the center.
- You can stop on the Lungarno Pacinotti in front of the number 6 to unload the suitcases, but we advise you not to delay too much because the traffic policemen are always lurking.
Travelling from the Station
On foot:
From the station to the Bed and Breakfast, it’s a walk of less than 15 minutes. Leaving the station, you just need to go straight ahead, crossing Corso Italia, the shopping street of Pisa, the bridge of Mezzo, and from the Piazza Garibaldi, on the north side of the Arno river, enter the alley of the maidens.
The total distance is just over 1 kilometer.
By bus:
With the LAM VERDE it is possible to arrive practically in front of the Bed and Breakfast, getting off at the Lungarno Pacinotti, the 2nd stop.
Parking Area
We do not have private parking.
The nearest parking is 500 meters away, in Piazza Carrara with the cost of 1.50 euros and per hour from 8am to 8pm.
The nearest free parking is in Lungarno Guadalongo which is about 15 minutes walk from the BB, along the riverfront.
However, we advise against our guests reaching Pisa by the car for problems that may derive from the parking lot and cameras in the ZTL area; problems common to most of the historic Italian cities.
