How to Reach Us?
Depending on your mode of transport — whether arriving by car, plane, or train — follow these steps to reach our location in Pisa.
From the Central Train Station
- On Foot: The walk from the train station to the Bed and Breakfast takes less than 15 minutes. Simply go straight, crossing Corso Italia (Pisa’s main shopping street), the Mezzo bridge, and from Piazza Garibaldi on the north side of the Arno River, enter the alley of the Maidens. The total distance is just over 1 kilometer.
- Public Transport: Take the Green LAM bus, which stops nearly in front of the Bed and Breakfast. Get off at the 2nd stop: Lungarno Pacinotti.
From the Airport
- Public Transport:
- Take the Red LAM Bus or People Mover to the train station. From there, walk 10 minutes through the pedestrian street or take the Green LAM or Number 4 bus to “Pacinotti 2,” then walk 1 minute to the alley.
- Public Transport Hours: Available from 6 AM to 8 PM. Tickets are sold at the airport Tabacchi.
- People Mover Service: Runs until midnight, connecting the airport to Central Station. After midnight, your only option is a taxi.
- By Car: : A 10-minute drive. Note that Pisa’s historic center is closed to non-residents. Be cautious of traffic cameras to avoid fines. You can briefly stop at Lungarno Pacinotti 6 to unload luggage, but parking is limited, and traffic police are vigilant.
- Taxi: A 10-minute taxi ride from the airport to Pisa’s center costs around €20.
By Car
- No Private Parking Available: We do not offer private parking for guests.
- Paid Parking Nearby: The closest paid parking is 500 meters away in Piazza Carrara, with a cost of €1.50 per hour from 8 AM to 8 PM.
- Free Parking Option: The nearest free parking is located along the riverfront at Lungarno Guadalongo, about a 15-minute walk from the B&B.
- Parking Advisory: We recommend against driving to Pisa due to parking difficulties and the presence of cameras in the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) area, common in most historic Italian cities.
